Allah says in the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Isra, verse 70 that:
“Indeed, We have dignified the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea, granted them good and lawful provisions, and privileged them far above many of Our creatures.”
This passage implies that some creatures must be even more advance and superior than humans, doesn’t it? Let’s see.
First and foremost, humans are not the only creatures of Allah with free will. There are some other creations of Allah that we are unaware of. In At-Tin verse 4 of another surah of the Quran, Allah states:
“surely We created man in the best mould“
This means that mankind is the most in glorious in sight. But there are The Jinns who were created from smokeless fire. They are therefore just as amazing as humans.
What is Ibn Taymiyyah view about Hazrat Adam (a.s.)?
Ibn Taymiyyah said about Prophet Adam (a.s.):
“Aadam, as well as the righteous people among his progeny, are better than angels even though the humans are created from clay and the angels are created from light.”
Those who do good deeds are the best
Regarding the best people, Allah says in the Holy Quran Surah Al-Bayyinah verse 7:
“But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures.”
This verse makes it abundantly evident that the greatest of all creations are those who obey Allah and His messenger and carry out good acts.
In another verse, Allah says: (Al-Hujurat, verse 13)
“O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.”
It is mentioned in Ghrar al Hikam, vol. 5 page 92 that Imam Ali (a.s.) said:
“Nobody on the planet is more admirable in Allah’s eyes than someone who obeys Him.”
Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is the Best creation of Allah
It is important to highlight that the superiority of our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him over all of creation, including the angels, is not part of this debate, as Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is absolutely the finest of all creation.
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“I shall be pre-eminent amongst the descendants of Adam on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first intercessor and the first whose intercession will be accepted (by Allah).”
Are Humans Superior to Angels?
They are not free beings with free will; we might say that they were
“programmed,” to borrow a contemporary term.

Conclusion
I want to conclude this by verse 57 of Surat Ghafir: “The creation of the heavens and the earth is certainly greater than the re-creation of humankind, but most people do not know.”
That being the case, we can claim that Allah has made other creatures capable of surpassing ourselves.
Before we begin, I would like to address a topic that is probably on your mind right now: are Ma’jooj and Ya’jooj human? I will recount one of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths, peace be upon him, from Sahih Bukhari 4741:
Allah orders you to take from among your offspring a mission for the (Hell) Fire.’ Adam will say, ‘O Lord! Who are the mission for the (Hell) Fire?’ Allah will say, ‘Out of each thousand, take out 999.’ At that time every pregnant female shall drop her load (have a miscarriage) and a child will have grey hair. And you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet not drunk, but severe will be the torment of Allah.” (When the Prophet Muhammad mentioned this), the people were so distressed (and afraid) that their faces got changed (in color) whereupon the Prophet Muhammad said, “From Gog and Magog nine-hundred ninety-nine will be taken out and one from you.”
That’s how we know that they are from the children of Adam. Now where are they? They are not in this planet. If you would like to read more about this, you may visit my other blog, where I have explained how they are from a different planet. In any case, for a brief note, I will quote a hadith here:
What is the appearance of Gog Magog?
Painting, depicting a wall being build between two mountains by the people https://yvonneseale.org/blog/2016/11/26/building-a-wall-against-gog-and-magog/
Some of them are as tall as Some are as tall as cedar tree – 60-120 feets
Some spread one ear to sleep on and cover themselves with the other. Some also state that they are two spans tall and the tallest amongst them are three spans. (Fathul-Bari)
It should be noted that all the narration’s above are weak and should not be taken. The authentic Ahadith like the Hadith of Nawwas-b- Saman in Muslim suggests that they are very strong and powerful people whom nobody has the power to fight. It has also been narrated that they have wide faces, small eyes, grey hair and their faces are like shields covered with skin. (Musnad Ahmad)
Extraterrestrial beings, ranked higher than humans

The Queen of Sheeba and Hazrat Sulaiman A.S. (Teleportation)
Decoding the verses of Quran

2. Decoding the verses of the Holy Quran
Who was the Queen of Sheeba?
The Queen of Sheeba, the ruler of Saba (what we now call as Yemen), was a powerful ruler. Quran doesn’t mention her name but it is said that her name was Bilqis. But her kingdom was not as magnificent as that of Hazrat Sulaiman A.S. (he was a prophet s/o Prophet Dawud A.S. and a great ruler of Israel. Hazrat Sulaiman had the power of speaking with the animals, insects and jinns.)
What is the story of Hazrat Sulaiman and Queen of Sheeba?
Hazrat Sulaiman sent a hoopoe bird to bring news from the surroundings. The bird came back and said:
https://ghicn.org/postels-blog-oct-19-lucky/
“I have found out something you do not know. I have just come to you from Sheba with sure news. Indeed, I found a woman ruling over them, who has been given everything ˹she needs˺, and who has a magnificent throne. I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah. For Satan has made their deeds appealing to them—hindering them from the ˹Right˺ Way and leaving them unguided—so they do not prostrate to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you ˹all˺ conceal and what you reveal.˹ He is˺ Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
Then Hazrat Sulaiman said:
Solomon said, “We will see whether you are telling the truth or lying. Go with this letter of mine and deliver it to them, then stand aside and see how they will respond.”
When the queen got the letter, she became worried, she thought that Hazrat Sulaiman was going to attack her. She decided to take advice from her officials. So, the Quran says about this:
The Queen ˹later˺ announced, “O chiefs! Indeed, a noble letter has been delivered to me.It is from Solomon, and it reads: ‘In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. Do not be arrogant with me, but come to me, fully submitting ˹to Allah˺. ”She said, “O chiefs! Advise me in this matter of mine, for I would never make any decision without you. ”They responded, “We are a people of strength and great ˹military˺ might, but the decision is yours, so decide what you will command. ”She reasoned, “Indeed, when kings invade a land, they ruin it and debase its nobles. They really do so! But I will certainly send him a gift, and see what ˹response˺ my envoys will return with.”
Telling this long story short, Hazrat Sulaiman A.S. rejected the gifts that were sent by the Queen. The Queen decided to visit Hazrat Sulaiman by herself. Hazrat Sulaiman wanted her to accept Islam, so he decided to show her his power (that were granted to him by Allah). He challenged the jinns that were in the court and said:
Solomon asked, “O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in ˹full˺ submission?”
Now this mission was not too easy. Because he had to enter a palace unnoticed, secure the thorn and had to safely teleport the thorn to Hazrat Sulaiman before she arrives. There was a very strong jinn who said:
One mighty jinn responded, “I can bring it to you before you rise from this council of yours. And I am quite strong and trustworthy for this ˹task˺.”
But there was a man, a human just like you and me who spoke and said:
“I can bring it to you in the blink of an eye.” So when Solomon saw it placed before him, he exclaimed, “This is by the grace of my Lord to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful, it is only for their own good. But whoever is ungrateful, surely my Lord is Self-Sufficient, Most Generous.”
And the story continues:
˹Then˺ Solomon said, “Disguise her throne for her so we may see whether she will recognize ˹it˺ or she will not be able to.” So when she arrived, it was said ˹to her˺, “Is your throne like this?” She replied, “It looks to be the same. We have ˹already˺ received knowledge ˹of Solomon’s prophethood˺ before this ˹miracle˺, and have submitted ˹to Allah˺.”
Teleportation and Portals
The first question that arises after reading this story is: how is it possible to bring that thorn from Yemen to Israel in the blink of an eye by a normal human being? Yemen is 2,211 km away from Isael, and at that time we knew that there were no fast transportation facilities like airplanes or jets. Even if there were, then “in the blink of an eye” means some nanoseconds. How was that happened? Well, of course, there is some science and teleportation. The man used some kind of portal to teleport that thorn from the palace of Queen to the palace of Sulaiman.
What does Quran tells us about teleportation portals?
Hazrat Zurkarnain A.S. used these portals to travel in the space. The Quran tells about this as:
فَأَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا
So he travelled a course
Zurkarnain was a prophet of Allah and Allah gave him he means to all things (Surah Kahf-84). Zurkarnain travelled through these paths and he reached near a black hole. Quran says:
until he reached the setting ˹point˺ of the sun, which appeared to him to be setting in a spring of murky water, where he found some people. We said, “O Ⱬul-Qarnain! Either punish them or treat them kindly.”
Here “spring of murky water” is very important. If we see the image of a black hole, we will notice that it is black. Basically, the gravitational pull of a black hole is so strong that even light cannot escape it. That’s why it appears to be black and Quran talks about this as spring of murky (dark) water.
2. When Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him went on Miraj (the night journey- Al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj), he went from Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa, where he was ascended to heavens, he led the prophets in a prayer and also met some of them. He talked to Allah and Allah gifted him a gift of fifty prayers that shortened to just five prayers. This and many other just happened in one night. Allah says:
“Exalted is He who took His Servant (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.”
And it is narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah that he heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying”
“When the people of Quraish did not believe me (i.e. the story of my Night Journey), I stood up in Al-Hijr and Allah displayed Jerusalem in front of me, and I began describing it to them while I was looking at it.”
Here is the table of the time for a return trip from Mecca to Masjid Al-Aqsa. (Reference: Secrets of Angels, Demons, Satan, and the Jinns – Decoding their Nature through Quran and Science)

The Prophet was only gone for a portion of the night before returning to Makkah after being given the ability to pray. He came back shortly before sunrise. He was able to observe the vastness of the universe and the connection between our existence on Earth and the broader and more expansive life on other planets during this exceptional journey.
3. Surah Jinn, verse 27 says:
“O children of Adam! Do not let Satan deceive you as he tempted your parents out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely he and his soldiers watch you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies of those who disbelieve.”
Now, jinns are also creatures of Allah, but they can see us from where we cannot see them. Maybe they are seeing us from another dimensions. Maybe there is a portal or a dimension from where we can see things from a very different perspective.
4. Once in a sun eclipse prayer did something that was very related to our concept of portals.
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Abbas:
The sun eclipsed in the life-time of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) . Allah’s Apostle offered the eclipse prayer and stood for a long period equal to the period in which one could recite Surat-al-Baqara. Then he bowed for a long time and then stood up for a long period which was shorter than that of the first standing, then bowed again for a long time but for a shorter period than the first; then he prostrated twice and then stood up for a long period which was shorter than that of the first standing; then he bowed for a long time which was shorter than the previous one, and then he raised his head and stood up for a long period which was shorter than the first standing, then he bowed for a long time which was shorter than the first bowing, and then prostrated (twice) and finished the prayer. By then, the sun (eclipse) had cleared. The Prophet then said, “The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah. They eclipse neither because of the death of somebody nor because of his life (i.e. birth). So when you see them, remember Allah.” The people say, “O Allah’s Apostle! We saw you taking something from your place and then we saw you retreating.” The Prophet replied, “I saw Paradise and stretched my hands towards a bunch (of its fruits) and had I taken it, you would have eaten from it as long as the world remains. I also saw the Hell-fire and I had never seen such a horrible sight. I saw that most of the inhabitants were women.” – Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 18, Number 161:
Now how is it possible for a man who is standing in this world to stretch his hands towards a tree that is in paradise? Surely, Prophet Muhammad peace be upon did it, but we examining the scene and extracting science from this. He used some kind of portal that connected him to paradise.

“The sun travels for its fixed term. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing”
The word ‘travel’ is very important here. If you see the helical motion of the planets, you will notice something that is extremely fabulous. See this picture:
You will see that the planets are in spiral motion and the sun is also revolving around something, because if the sun is in motion then there has to be some kind of center. That center can be a black hole because we know that there is a black hole at the center of our milky way galaxy called as Sagittarius A*. Now every star has to die, either by becoming a black hole or by another black hole. So, the sun traveling for its fixed term means that the sun is traveling towards its end, and it will die when the time comes. Everything has a specific life span, and when the life span ends, the thing has to die. When the time period of this sun comes, it will die, and of course it will be our end as well.
Does the Quran have scientific facts?
The Quran is dripping with scientific facts and knowledge. We will try our best to extract most of the knowledge and share it with you. Here are some astronomical examples:
Sun is not static, but moving in our galaxy Surah Ya-Sin, verse 38
The children of Hazrat Ishaq are called as Bani-Isra’il. It is an Arabic term. From Prophet Ishaq, the tribe of Bani Isra’iloriginated. Prophet Ishaq had a son named Prophet Yaakob. According to the Quran (Surah Yusuf: 4), Prophet Yaakob had 12 sons. The 12 sons of Prophet Yaakobgave birth to 12 tribes of Bani Isra’il.
˹Remember˺ when Joseph said to his father, “O my dear father! Indeed I dreamt of eleven stars, and the sun, and the moon—I saw them prostrating to me!”
